Network Module
The Network Module works exclusively with the Network Supervisor PC. It provides the serial interfacing between the Network Supervisor and the devices on the communication line. The Network Module connects to any standard RS232 Serial COM port on the rear of the PC and converts the RS232 signals to RS485 signals, or RS455 Fiber Optic signals, which are recognized by the PMCP Controller and I/O Module. Features: An RS232 converter to 2-RS485 outputs An RS232 converter to RS455 outputs: Fiber Optic An RS455 converter to RS232 outputs Opto-Isolation between RS232 and RS485 ports Ground terminals are provided for the RS485 shielded wire Powered by 120 VAC wall transformer or DC supply: 8 - 35 VDC DIN rail mountable Meets EIA RS232, EIA RS485, and EIA RS455 Standards Can be powered by: 1. 120 VAC wall transformer 2. An external DC supply (8-35 VDC)
