ETC offers two controllers and a full line of accessories to meet your application and budgetary requirements.  The PMCP and the Mini Controllers are widely used for upgrades, conversions, modifications, and retrofits in hospitals, universities, waste water treatment plants, data centers, military, municipalities, and pharmaceutical companies: Applications and Site locations.  They are also used as replacement controllers for operating transfer switches by the leading ATS manufactures.

The PMCP is the #1 controller on the market for operating all types of automatic transfer schemes. It can easily be tailored to fit your standard or customized transfer scheme requirements with no software design

 

 

 

 

The Mini Controller is our basic controller used for operating an ATS and breaker pair transfer schemes.

 

The PMCP Controller is widely used for:

  • New and custom transfer scheme designs
  • Conversion of manual transfer schemes to automatic
  • Field modifications, upgrades, and retrofits in hospitals, universities, waste water treatment plants, data centers, municipalities, and industrial facilities:
    Applications and Site locations
  • Replacing the PLC designs: eliminate writing software and reduce test time, external parts, and labor costs: view the advantages of using the PMCP over the PLC and other controllers
  • Replacement controller for the leading ATS manufacturers: ASCO (8/9, 6/7, 300 & 7000), Zenith, Onan, Russelectric, Kohler, Westinghouse, and Cutler Hammer
  • Main Tie Main controller: select for Open or Closed transfer mode
  • Low and medium voltage transfer scheme applications: 120 vac – 15 KV
  • Upgrading an existing ATS Network to improve performance and reliability: RS485,  Ethernet, LAN, and WAN networks.

The ATS Display Panel displays  settings, voltages, currents, KW, PF, and status within the controllers. It also programs   features, settings, and operating parameters within the PMCP Controller and monitors settings within the Mini Controller. Panel comes in flush and surface mount.

The MTM Display Panel is the same as the ATS Display Panel except the indicator LEDs shall display the status of M1, M2, S1, S2, TIE, Auto/Manual, and Alarm/Lockout. Panel comes in flush and surface mount. To view the Main Tie Main Display Panel click here.

 

The Power Option PCB  is required for the PMCP to measure 3-phase current, power factor, and KW of the load. Just plug the Power Option PCB into a connector on the PMCP, program in the CT Ratio and you're ready to go.....It's that simple.

Breaker Add-On Panel

The Breaker Add-On Panel is used with the PMCP Controller for operating  Breaker Pair Transfer Schemes. The transfer modes can be Open, Closed, Soft Load, Delayed, Load Dump, and Load Disconnect when used with the PMCP.

 

The Universal Add-On Panel (UAP) is used with the PMCP for controlling a solenoid operated Automatic Transfer Switch in various transfer modes: Closed (CTTS), Delayed (DTTS), Soft Load (STTS), Load Dump (Add/Shed Load), and Load Disconnect. The UAP can be configured or re-configured in the field by changing the arrangement of the jumper wires.

ETC Network Configurations

The ATS Scada PC provides annunciation, programming, and control of multiple PMCP Controllers on the RS485 communication ETC Network. The Scada PC also monitors the status of the Pre/Shutdown Alarms of the Engine via I/O Module. A total of 128 devices can easily be monitored with the PC and still maintain a fast update speed. The screens of the Scada PC are user friendly and highly visible.    

 

 

 

 

 The ETC Laptop Software installs on a standard laptop and converts the laptop into a portable Scada for accessing data and programming settings within the controllers via RS232 Port or the USB port. Run the Laptop Demo to view screens.

I/O Module

 

The I/O Module provides digital inputs to monitor Alarm/Pre-Alarm outputs of the engine. The digital data is sent to the Scada PC, over the RS485 Network, to be displayed on the Engine Screen of the Scada PC. The I/O Module also provides 3 Form-A dry contacts that are activated from the Scada. These contacts can be used for activating other devices.    

 

 The Handheld Programmer displays  settings, voltages, currents, KW, PF, and status within the controllers. It also programs   features, settings, and operating parameters within the PMCP Controller and monitors settings within the Mini Controller.
