Display Panel

 

            The Display Panel provides the user with a way to monitor settings, activate a test, perform metering functions, and program operating parameters/accessories within the PMCP. It will also provide the same for the Mini-Controller, but with no programming capabilities.

            The Display Panel contains large status indicators, more buttons for easy operating, and a large character font LCD display for easy visibility. The user can move in and out of the screens very easily with no extensive scrolling..

            The Display Panel interfaces to the PMCP via phone cable into the RS232 port of the PMCP. The RS232 serial port is located on the rear of the Display Panel.

            Mounting of the Display Panel is simple and can be installed in the field in a matter of minutes on the existing cabinet door. The required hardware and a mounting template are provided.

 

Standard Features:

A large 2 x 16 characters LCD display with backlight.

Numeric keys (0-9) for selecting/programming.

Eight function keys used to program, monitor, and control:

Menu:
Select all features (accessible from any screen).
Meter:
Display volts, amps, frequency, current, PF, KW.
Program:
Program parameters, settings and accessories.
Next:
Key used to advance to next field or screen.
Test:
Activate/cancel a transfer test.
Delay Bypass:
Cancel active running time delay.
Status:
View real time activities.
LED Test:
Turn on all status LED's.

7 High Intensity Status Indicators:

Load on Normal:
Load connected to Utility.
Load on Emergency:
Load connected to Emergency.
Normal Source:
Utility source available.
Emergency Source:
Emergency source available.
Delay Active:
A time delay is running.
Engine Start:
Controller has signaled to start the engine.
Test Active:
Controller is in test mode (red LED flashes).

Mounting:

Mounts on the front of the cabinet door within minutes.

No large square cutout is required.

Easy to follow for mounting instructions.

The requirements for mounting the Display Panel are:

Drill 4 - 3/16 inch holes for mounting panel

Drill 1 - 1/4 inch hole and make 1 one inch diameter hole using a round hole punch (hole punch available from ETC): for phone cable interface.

Specifications:

Display measures 9.0 in. x 7.0 in. x 0.75 in.

Meets EIA RS232 standards.

Metal enclosure.
